Stuff and Nonsense!
A friend of mine, who actually knows what she's doing when it comes to making jewelry, had me and a couple other gals over to make jewelry and she had these vintage beads......she had made a bracelet out of a few of them that I loved so I made my own variation! Did a little embroidery this week, just working on removing the rust from the fact that I have not tried this for ages! Got a few kinks to work out, but over all had a good time! I have about 5 things I am hoping to be able to create here in the near future! K~
Very nice stitching. I'm playing w/a new sewing technique for me, too. It's quilting: paper piecing, but using fabric softner sheets (used) for the foundation. I've made a mini quilt and a cover for a small notebook I'll use to write my homework assignments in from school.
I'm also making a quilt for a bed, but about half way through it I decided that I didn't like one of the fabrics I chose, so now I'll be ripping it out (we like to creatively call it "unsewing").
Keep up the creative endeavors and sharing your creations on your blog. Linda W.
