Oh Baby!

So today it really, I mean really...hit me that I am about to become a Grandmother!! I made the error of watching The TLC channel! 1 Minute I am watching "What Not to Wear", then before I know it...boom a husband and wife are in a labor & delivery room, having their first baby...oh dear. I just know I should change the channel, but of course I don't...and then they are holding their brand new baby boy!!! Every memory of having two baby boys comes rushing back! The laughter the tears! All of it! And then I think how much fun it will be to have a baby around again!  I glance at my calendar & see that we are just 6 weeks away from having a grand baby ! I am so excited for Joel & Christin! They have just moved into their first home & have been fixing it up and getting ready for the new baby! such a fun and exciting time for the two of them! So much work, but they have been handling it like pro's! I am so proud of them both, and can't wait to watch them both step into parenthood with the same maturity and grace that they have done everything else! Not sure how "mature" Tom and I will be as grandparents, after all we are not known for our "maturity" in any given situation! But nevertheless I am beyond excited & more than ready to be a Grandma!
