So we had a million things planned for this weekend, Tom teaching on Sunday, me "in charge" of a huge rummage sale, the youth staff over for lunch on Sunday after church...it was a lot & I was having moments of serious heart palpitations....wondering how on earth I could be gone all Fri & most of Saturday then whip up a yummy dinner for our youth staff!!! Never mind the part about having them come to a clean home, I gave up on that & was just going to settle for a picked up home & call it good! But God is always so good & while at first I didn't want it to rain I am now oh so thankful for it! For because of the rain we are currently home...snug! Not just wrapping up a rummage sale & putting things away! Tom has been able to work on his message & chip away at his Bible courses!! I am cleaning & planning a menu rather than just grabbing whatever looks simple! So today we are just enjoying this forced slowing down of life! I might even read or better yet sew something!!!
Isn't it just like our God to take such good care of us!! He took off our plates what He knew was needed! His timing is always perfect!!!

ReplyDeleteSounds like a perfect plan... and gives me time to get things together for you... why does organizing take so much longer and confusing the older you get? i dont get it i use to be quick in organizing now its such a chore..love to you Karen!
