Faithfulness

Most of you know that Tom and I are joining a team from our church to head to London (Camden) to serve alongside another church that has recently been planted  http://www.shorelinelondon.co.uk/index.htm 

We are so excited to see what God is doing there & how we might be a part of that. Tom and I visited London several months back & both felt as if we wanted to return, only as more than just a tourist & we really weren't even sure there would be this opportunity, so that makes this even more exciting! However the reality of this is for Tom and I the cost is x2, and so it is going to cost a bit over 5,000$ when you factor in extra $$ for meals and such.....so right now for us the 1/2 point of our fundraising means 1 of us is paid & we still have $2,200 to go! While I really am not feeling hopeless I must say that I am feeling a bit overwhelmed, there is no way we, from our resources, can cover that....or even really a portion of it, so of course there are moments of "oh my".....this is crazy...But truthfully we are looking forward to seeing God provide for this, in fact just yesterday as we were talking one of us, I think Tom, said "it (the money) can come in & happen only supernaturally" and then today, just about an hour ago Tom brings in a little card, from a friend I haven't seen in more than 20 years & whom I have reconnected with via Facebook", in is a check....supernaturally is right! While we still have a ways to go this check was such a beautiful reminder of His faithfulness to us & how if He has called us to go to London He will provide!!!

It may require a lot of work, but there is no questions as to His provision!
