Time gets Away!

I have often thought to sit down and blog....then 4 days just blow by and again I have that thought " I really should blog that"....on and on it goes where it stops nobody knows!  I, like so many people I know, have a busy full schedule, that just seems to be the "norm". In fact so busy the only things I ever manage to get done is what has to be done! Say...the trash, we cannot simply let it pile up, well we could our neighbors may get a little angry. Another thing I manage to see done it the litter box, we have 4 indoor kitties...nuff said on that stinky subject. But things like say..... sorting through old home school curriculum that you were so happy to be finished with you wanted to scream it from the rooftop!!! That was almost 2 years ago, and often I wold think gee I really need to pull all those books out and sort and sell! Well this weekend I did it!!! Sort of! You see the beginning of Sept. isn't prolly the best time to sell "used" curriculum, most mom's are all set to go (unless your me, ordering all your school books the week before your set to start...only to find out they are back ordered until Dec. But that is another topic! Besides I am no longer a home school mama, Praise be!)
So now I have emptied my pantry and Tom's garage shelves(thank you Tom for sharing with me!) of old textbooks only to check several online used book sites and see that in fact no one is looking for books right now. As old as some of our books are no one may EVER be looking for these!  I now have several piles of books stacked in my living room, waiting to be photographed,listed & sold! How long will they end up piled there for my cat's to jump from pile to pile?I doubt my family will allow me 2 years! But for now I am happy to have my pantry full of card making stuff, fun dishes for entertaining & the food to do it with! Perhaps I could just throw one of my vintage table clothes over the book, stick a candle on the top and call it good!!!
