I was Thinking!

So I was thinking (always a bit dangerous!)
During the course of this last week as I have gone about life either meeting up with a teen or just having them to our house I realized, or rather God revealed to me, just how little you really have to give to impact a life, or show love. More than once someone said 'you really love this don't you?', or "you spoil them", "thank you so much"....now mind you I was doing nothing I felt extraordinary doing. Ummm... things like sitting in Starbucks chatting, or steaming a huge pot of hot dogs, popping pop~corn, or just giving a hug & smile now and then! Of course there are plenty of times when things are a bit harder, times of speaking truth into someones life (people don't like that so much) but over all it is easy to just love. In fact it helps take the focus off ourselves! Putting someone else first, I have found, is often a good remedy for selfishness....or loneliness, and many other issues that haunt us. So for those of you who are feeling a bit dry, just try doing for others, whether it's just being friendly at Wal-Mart ,even though you had to wait 20 min. to get your prescription filled, or just plain stop focusing on you......I promise it will change your day, and more likely theirs! One day I was at Wal~Mart & smiled and said "how are you?" to my cashier..she stopped looked at me and said "you are the first person that has smiled at me today...thank you!" Really???? That was all I had to do? It cost me nothing, not even emotionally! Wow.  I often forget that old saying "a little goes a long way" it's like that with love, never under estimate how a little love may impact someone in your life!
((luvs to you!))
