The Tefft holidays were different this year, different doesn't have to be bad! This year marked Tom and my 26th Christmas as a couple, and our first Christmas morning without our oldest son Joel! I had anticipated feeling as if the house/morning would seem empty, and while it was different, I didn't feel quite so sad as I and anticipated!
We exchanged gifts & tears and enjoyed a late (very late) breakfast! The rest of the day was marked with rain all the live long day, video games,movies & visiting & looking at all the lovely photo's from the wedding album Joel & Christin gave us for Christmas! Capped off with a simple ham dinner! In it's simplicity it was peaceful & not so sad as I had thought!
Tom and I managed to sneak away shortly after Christmas & enjoyed some quiet moments, reading in front of a fireplace, delicious food, visiting a Mission and our favorite pastime junk shops! Below are a couple of our finds!!
