1 Lb. good milk chocolate, I added a few squares of 
simi sweet be sure to melt this at a very low temp, I use a double boiler rather than a microwave, I feel like I have better control of the heat....Pour 1/2 of the melted chocolate into the pan, press several peppermint patties into the warm chocolate, leaving 1 inch space around the edges.

Press a variety of other mint candies to the top. Be creative. I just used Jr. Mints & Andes mints. But there are
other types to choose from! Have fun!
I was going to a Christmas party so crushed half a candy cane & sprinkled it on top
